Via germanico 27, Rome, Italy
How did the romans make those high walls without cranes I wonder!
This is one of the best preserved public baths of ancient Rome. The remains are pretty awesome. Low amount of visitors though.
I could not look at anything else apart from those high walls.
Some of the signs were written in Italian, could not understand a word. Good we had a guide with us! The weather was hot, but the carcalla is quite spectacular. Our guide knew every Rock of the carcalla and he was very generous with his time and effort. Great experience over all.
Wonderful experience. I heard that the guides can be hard to find here but I found mine pretty easy.
Rome is a city of Wonders for me and The Romans built most of it. So visiting one such location each day
I had no idea that the place is so big. Italian government should make modern version of it. The place is marvelous .
Some very nice memories of this place. It’s a shame the place got so damaged but the bath is a big place. But I learnt a lot history today. Skip the line was pretty nice.
I saw this place in Jhon wick already but that at night though. So this time I went at daytime. I am surprised to see what Romans were capable of.
